My blog titles sometimes have everything and nothing to do with what I say in my posts. Just so you know.
So, can poems be out of style? Nope. Not in my opinion. Here is a poem that I learned as a kid in Jamaica when I was about seven years old give or take, and I don't know who made it up, I just remember the words, maybe a word or two off. I'll share with my blog. The moon has a face like the clock on the wall That shines on thieves on garden walls On streets, and fields and harbor keys The birds are asleep in the fork of the trees The squalling cat The squeaking mouse The howling dog by the door of the house The bat that lies in bed at noon All love to be out by the light of the moon But all of the things that belong to the day Cuddle to sleep to be out of our way While flowers and children close their eyes Till up in the morning the sun shall arise Well, its possible I may be off in my wording although I think that's the gist of it. The point is, the sun and the moon live in perfect harmony and "synch." We cannot survive without them, in fact, if earth disappeared from our feet, they would still exist. These two powerful forces are almost solely responsible for life on our planet among other elements. As passengers here, we should reflect on these two forces from time to time. There is no malice between them, they just are, forever. They exist for each other under the special care of the universe. They share everything, including their energies. If I were to make a wild guess, I'd say everything in our solar system relies on the energies of our sun and moon. Yes, that's how vital they are. Can the sun and moon be vanquished? dissipate? That is entirely up to the guardianship of the universe or God. But, why would God destroy something he spent the beginning of time making and perfecting? So no. You won't see their destruction unless, in my opinion, there is a change of plans that is beyond our control. So far, there isn't on the horizon. So we will have to wait until the next horizon to see what the universe decides, which is still this horizon stretched out forever. Happy reviews on your horizons GTF GTS GTHS Peace Comments are closed.

AuthorMy name is Tracy and welcome to my site and blog page. Thanks for stopping by. On this page I will try to catalogue some things or pivotal moments I feel have made me who I am. There may even be moments that are not so pivotal but more like a muse, a funny memory or otherwise. Be warned though, I may take things off, I may re-edit or remove things. If you happen to read something and it isn't here anymore, its because I am either re-editing, or getting ready to add something else. Also, some of the things I say on here may be understandable and some may not, and sometimes I may not blog or add anything for a while. It's okay with me if you don't understand me or what I write, I mean no ill will in my words or what I write so don't take it personal if it offends you that's just not my aim. My blog or this page is created for me, and for my fans or anyone who wants to come on here and read what I write. Archives
